Time to get moving!

Wow - I can't believe we are only 50 days away from the Tour de Cure! Time is flying by this year and now with what looks like a great week/weekend for riding it's time to start training and fundraising!!

This has been a hectic week - I've been working on getting everything together for the April Newsletter to go out to all of our cyclists. There is a TON of information included(most of which is also on this site)- about important stuff like Training Rides, Turn In & Tune Up Days, Fundraising Contests and Incentives and much more! This should arrive in your mailbox sometime next week.

I'm also hosting some "online fundraising" classes. If you were every waiting for the right time to set up your page - now is the time! I've got 4 classes schedule to walk our riders through how to set up your page, upload your address book and send out emails. Each class is just 1 hour and should give you a good start to get going. Please call in for one of these classes - online fundraising is the easiest and fastest way to reach your goals!!

We're also very excited to welcome Daren Stone, Safety- Baltimore Ravens, and Lockport, NY native as a celebrity guest at our 2009 Tour de Cure! He will be riding in the ride to help raise awareness about diabetes and will be in a special VIP Tent for Champions for Diabetes to sign autographs after the ride!

In addition, thanks to Dupont one of our sponsors we have a great fundraising prize - a new Corian Countertop installed in YOUR KITCHEN by Granite Gallery !! Folks who raise $1000 are automatically entered to win this great prize. For each additional $500 raised your name is entered again with a random drawing to happen at the end of June!!
